Online Course: Visual Studio Online
The webinar I attended focused on Visual Studio Code (VSC), an open-source code editor developed by Microsoft. The event was conducted online and consisted of pre-recorded videos covering various aspects of VSC.
II. Reflections on the Webinar/Activity and Learnings
Attending the webinar on Visual Studio Code was an enlightening experience. The pre-recorded videos were concise and well-structured, covering a range of topics that introduced me to the capabilities of VSC.
Firstly, the session on Download and Installation provided clear instructions on how to install VSC on different operating systems, making it accessible to a wide audience. Learning about the different Features in VSC highlighted its versatility as a code editor, from syntax highlighting and code completion to built-in Git integration.
III. Reflections on Implementing Some of the Webinar Input on a Practical Level
After the webinar, I was eager to explore Visual Studio Code (VSC) further. I started customizing VSC with the extensions and settings that were discussed. Learning the keyboard shortcuts and how to split the editor window have already begun to boost my productivity when writing code.
IV. Positive Feedback on the Event Organization
Overall, I found the organization of the webinar to be highly effective. The use of pre-recorded videos provided flexibility in learning at my own pace and enabled me to revisit specific sections as needed. The content was thoughtfully structured and presented in a clear manner, which greatly facilitated understanding of complex topics.
V. Suggestions for Improvements for Future Activities
However, there is room for improvement. Improving the quality of video lectures and ensuring compatibility with slower internet speeds would enhance the learning experience for all participants.
