I. Details of the event/activity
The online course on Frontend Development - CSS was conducted entirely through recorded videos. This online course covered fundamental concepts and techniques in Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), focusing on styling and designing web pages. Each module of the course included comprehensive video lectures, practical demonstrations, and exercises to reinforce learning.
II. Reflections on the Webinar/Activity and Learnings
Participating in the online course on CSS via recorded videos was an insightful experience. The videos were well-structured and easy to follow, allowing me to learn at my own pace. The instructor provided clear explanations of CSS concepts, including selectors, properties, and styling rules. I gained a solid understanding of how CSS integrates with HTML to create visually appealing web pages.
Watching the videos enabled me to grasp various CSS techniques, such as creating layouts, formatting text, and applying styles to elements.
III. Reflections on Implementing Some of the Webinar Input on a Practical Level
Implementing the knowledge gained from the online course on a practical level was both challenging and rewarding. I applied the CSS techniques learned to a personal project, where I designed and styled a simple webpage. This practical application allowed me to reinforce my understanding of CSS and experiment with different styling options.
IV. Positive Feedback on the Event Organization
The organization of the online course was commendable. The recorded videos were accessible through a user-friendly platform, and each module was well-structured with clear learning objectives. The course content was presented in a logical sequence, starting with the basics and gradually progressing to more advanced topics.
V. Suggestions for Improvements for Future Activities
However, there is room for improvement. Improving the quality of video lectures and ensuring compatibility with slower internet speeds would enhance the learning experience for all participants.
