My OJT Journey at Intel Park: Embracing Diversity and Learning Beyond Boundaries

Introduction During my On-the-Job Training (OJT) at Intel Park, I had the unique opportunity to take on two roles: that of a housekeeper and an assistant IT. The experience taught me valuable lessons in adaptability, teamwork, and the importance of embracing diverse responsibilities.

Balancing Roles In the beginning, I was excited yet slightly nervous about the dual responsibilities. I quickly learned to manage my time efficiently, balancing cleaning tasks with IT assistance duties. The diverse roles helped me develop a versatile skill set.

Learning the Ropes as a Housekeeper As a housekeeper, I ensured the cleanliness and tidiness of various spaces within the park. It taught me the importance of attention to detail and the satisfaction of maintaining a welcoming environment for everyone.

Embracing the World of IT As an assistant IT, I was introduced to the world of technology. I assisted in troubleshooting technical issues, setting up equipment, and aiding employees with software-related problems. This role exposed me to the fast-paced and ever-evolving field of IT.

Lessons in Teamwork Throughout my OJT, I collaborated with diverse teams, from fellow housekeepers to IT professionals. Learning to work with people from different backgrounds and expertise showed me the value of effective communication and cooperation.

Personal Growth and Confidence As my OJT progressed, I noticed significant personal growth. My confidence in handling challenging situations increased, and I discovered a passion for problem-solving, both in technical matters and day-to-day cleaning tasks.
