Online Course: Programming Basic

I.        Details of the event/activity

I recently took an online course called "Programming Basics" because I wanted to learn programming. I liked the flexibility of the online format, which let me study at my own pace and fit learning into my schedule.

II.        Reflections on the Webinar/Activity and Learnings

This course provided a comprehensive introduction to programming. It reinforced the basics I had previously learned and introduced new concepts and techniques. Despite facing challenges like low-quality video lectures and slow internet, the moments of successfully solving complex exercises were highly rewarding.

III.        Reflections on Implementing Some of the Webinar Input on a Practical Level

The knowledge gained from this course has practical applications in many areas. For instance, understanding control structures and functions can help automate repetitive tasks, making processes more efficient.

IV.        Positive Feedback on the Event Organization

Despite some technical issues, the curriculum was well-structured, gradually building on each concept. The exercises and quizzes were effective in reinforcing the material covered in the lectures. The flexibility to learn at my own pace and the availability of resources like forums for discussion and additional reading materials were particularly beneficial.

V.        Suggestions for Improvements for Future Activities

While the course was generally effective, there are areas for improvement. The quality of video lectures needs enhancement to ensure clarity and better engagement. Providing downloadable versions of the videos could help learners with slow internet connections.
