Online Course: Basics of EDA with Python

I.        Details of the event/activity

The webinar on Basics of Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) with Python was organized as part of an online course. The session was conducted via recorded video, allowing participants the flexibility to engage with the material at their own pace. The content covered fundamental concepts and techniques in EDA using the Python programming language, which is widely used for data analysis and visualization.

II.         Reflections on the Webinar/Activity and Learnings

The webinar provided a comprehensive introduction to EDA techniques, which are crucial for understanding data and making informed decisions.

I particularly appreciated the structured approach to EDA, starting with understanding the dataset, handling missing values, and then moving on to visualizing distributions and relationships among variables.

III.        Reflections on Implementing Some of the Webinar Input on a Practical Level

Implementing the webinar's input practically involved following along with the examples provided in the course. Although I did not personally practice data cleaning using Python, I gained a good understanding of the importance of data preprocessing steps like handling missing values and outliers. This knowledge will be invaluable as I continue to work with real-world datasets in the future.

IV.        Positive Feedback on the Event Organization

The organization of the webinar was well-done. The use of recorded videos allowed for flexibility in learning and reviewing the material. The course materials were comprehensive and accompanied by practical examples, which facilitated understanding and application..

V.        Suggestions for Improvements for Future Activities

However, there is room for improvement. Improving the quality of video lectures and ensuring compatibility with slower internet speeds would enhance the learning experience for all participants.
